I wanted to write these dates things down before I forgot:
Sept. 26- took the day off work to help get ready for my brother's wedding, went to Target and bought a pregnancy test (wasn't late, just had a feeling). First test- positive. Second test- positive. Ahh!!! Go on with the rest of the wedding preparations trying not to freak out.
Evening of Sept. 26- I told Chris about the positive tests. He didn't believe me and I had to show them to him. We celebrate the fact that we're going to be parents!
Sept. 27- Jay's wedding. I obviously wasn't drinking anything, and felt HORRIBLE all day but tried to smile through. A couple of people were suspicious, but we kept quiet.
Sept. 28- we told my parents and sister that I'm pregnant. Everyone was super excited!
Oct. 2- blood work from the doctor confirms that I'm definitely pregnant!
Oct. 23- saw baby on the ultrasound for the first time! About 8.5 weeks along, heartbeat going at 150 bpm. We must have an athletic baby on our hands because he/she flipped over during the ultrasound (tech told us they almost never move that early on).
Oct. 25- tell most of our friends that we're pregnant
Oct. 26- it's official! Facebook announcement goes public
