5 months

Our sweet boy is 5 months old! For some reason, this seems WAY bigger than 4 months did. Imagine how I'll feel at 6 months when he's 1/2 a year old?!

At 5 months:

-happiest in the morning when he wakes up, a little grumpy in the afternoon

-sleeps 7:15pm-6am most nights

-drinks 5 6 oz bottles a day plus some oatmeal and vegetables during the day

-rolls from back to belly to back...our little floppy fish! 

-loves his activity bouncer

-still loves his activity mat and can actually pull on the toys now

-loves to grab his feet (see picture below!)

He's had 3 new babysitters in the past month: EA, Sarah and Lauren. EA (who I used to babysit) came and watched him while we went to dinner one night. Hooray for a date! We went to Outback Steakhouse and enjoyed ourselves. It was long overdue! He also stayed with a friend of a friend, Miss Sarah, while I was at work 2 days and Mom was out of town. She was great and is a good steady back-up when needed! Finally, Lauren came over last night so we could go to the Conrad/Bach wedding. She was the first sitter to put Parker to bed. She was very sweet when we got home and said he was "a little fussy". My babysitter code knows what that means...he cried a bunch but eventually went to sleep! So thankful to have found some sweet people to help watch over our precious boy. It's way more difficult than I ever realized to leave him!!
