Can Parker really already be 6 months old? Halfway to one year? It's hard to believe!!
This picture sums up how Parker is about 95% of the time:
He is such a happy guy! Smiling and "laughing" all the time, except when he has a dirty diaper or is really sleepy. But then a quick change or a nap fixes it and he's back to his happy self.
We had a great first Thanksgiving as a family of 3. Parker enjoyed some tiny bites of rolls along with some peas and sweet potatoes.
This month he also got to meet Santa! As you can see in the photo, he didn't quite know what to make of it.
At 6 months:
-takes 5, 6 oz. bottles a day
-eats oatmeal and fruit for "breakfast" and some veggies for "dinner"
-reaching for EVERYTHING
-sleeps 10-11 hours a night, usually 7:30pm-5am and then will go back to sleep after a bottle
-still loves bathtime
-starting to sit up for short amounts of time, no longer content to be lying on the floor
-can sit up in a restaurant high chair AND in the grocery cart!!
-drooling constantly but still no teeth, although we think they are close
-had his first upset tummy and sick visit to the doctor
He is still just such a joy in our lives! This is a really fun time with him now and we are enjoying every minute of it!
