2 months!

This post is over a month late...oops!

Parker was 2 months old on August 7. He is sleeping through the night most nights- goes down around 8pm and wakes around 5am. So awesome! He has recently discovered his hands and loves to try and put them in his mouth. He wakes up smiling most mornings and loves looking at Mommy or Daddy.

At his 2 month check up he weighed 11 lbs 15 oz and was almost 24" long. Around the 30% for both, so not a huge guy but not too little either. Just right!

He had to have his first round of immunizations. I think Mommy was more traumatized than Parker :( The sweet nurse assured me that I wasn't the first mom to cry! 

Around 6 weeks old we switched exclusively to formula. He was having such issues with breastfeeding and I felt like he wasn't getting enough to eat. Turns out, I was right! My supply was super low and he didn't have the best latch. I had all intentions of breastfeeding, but it just didn't work for us. I was really sad about it for a while, but I've accepted it. He is growing, healthy and happy which is all we could ask for. Food is food no matter where it comes from. We are so thankful to God for a healthy and happy baby boy!
