3 months

Once again, I'm late in posting Parker's monthly update! Maybe for 4 months I'll be on time...

It's hard to believe our little guy is already 3 months old! He is becoming such a sweet little thing and we loving seeing his personality come out more and more. And watching him discover things is just the most amazing feeling ever. 

He still hates tummy time, but will tolerate it for a few minutes each day:

This picture sums him up: happy. He is happy about 90% of the time. He only cries when he is hungry, super tired or has a nasty dirty diaper. He still LOVES getting his diaper changed (weird baby!). He has really started to smile more and smile in response to our faces this month, which just melts my heart. 

 At 3 months:
-sleeps 10-11 hours a night (woo hoo!!) in his new Merlin's Magic Sleepsuit. Looks crazy, but it works.
-eats 5-6 oz. of formula about 5 times a day
-naps 1-1.5 hours in morning and usually 2 hours in afternoon, followed by a late afternoon/early evening catnap
-loves bathtime, new diapers, playing "touchdown"
-has figured out he has hands that can do things, starting to hold on to toys
-will stand (supported, of course) for a few seconds at a time
-still not a huge fan of tummy time but is coming around to the idea
-drools all the time

Basically, the world's best baby. He was baptized on Sept. 13 at our home church wearing the same christening gown all 3 of my siblings wore. My grandmother made it in 1982 for my brother. Such a special day! We celebrated with a big brunch after with all of our close family and church friends.

Next month we'll go get his official 4 month photos taken for his baby panel. Can't wait to see how those turn out!
